Correlate residuals in common pathway model

Dear all,

I have fitted a common pathway model—one latent factor and 7 observed variables.

I have fitted a single-factor common pathway model since the previous literature has suggested this structure and also my confirmatory factor analysis.

As previous publications did in the confirmatory factor analysis, the model improved by correlating the residuals between two subscales since these two components have strong component overlap (one sub-scale is used to calculate the other). My confirmatory factor analysis also improved by doing so.

RI-CLPM: covariates and scaling

I'm new to all things SEM, but I'm attempting to use OpenMx for a Cross-lagged Panel Model (with random intercepts) on longitudinal data in youth. I have two measured variables at two timepoints, equally spaced apart. I have gone through John Flournoy's tutorials (http://johnflournoy.science/2018/09/26/riclpm-openmx-demo/) as well as several other resources on this topic, but I have a few questions I was hoping I could get some input on from the experts here!

Output from Mixture Model - How to Determine Latent Scores

I fit a mixture model using mxExpectationMixture and mxFitFunctionML. I estimate means and residual variances for the second class (the values for the first class are arbitrarily fixed). How can I determine how the observations are classified?

I've attached a file with the relevant code.

Thanks.

Rick

Univariate Ordinal ACE question

Hello,

I am brand new to running univariate ordinal ACE models and am running into an error that I could use some help with.

Here is the code I am running:

Cholesky with latent traits

Hello, I want to estimate a modified CP model, where I have a Cholesky model with three latent traits (see picture attached).
The d- and e-variables are ordinal (d = 2 categories; e = 3 categories). The s-variable is continuous and in order to integrate it into the LISREL-matrices I define a single factor measurement model with the residual variance set to 0 and the factor loading to 1.

threshold support in MxExpectationStateSpace

Hi all,

Was giving MxExpectationStateSpace a whirl, trying to build a model with binary manifest vars. I notice there's an option for thresholds, but it's deprecated -- is it acting as a stub i.e. it hasn't been implemented yet? Are statespace thresholds on the development roadmap?

Cheers,
Kyle
