OpenMx Installation - cannot open the connection - 'failure when receiving data from the peer'
I am very new to OpenMx. I am using it to fit saturated and ACE models to my twin data. I had successfully installed OpenMx using the script for the OpenMx website: source('https://vipbg.vcu.edu/vipbg/OpenMx2/software/getOpenMx.R')
But now when I am trying to re-run my models and use this version of openMx I receive the following error messages:

Can't install OpenMx
2. R version 4.3.0 (2023-4-21): I just updated my R version. I also used the older R version to install it but failed, so I think maybe update R could work...

OpenMx fails to install under R-4.1.3 Linux, omp.h file not found error
The R version is 4.1.3
(I have not installed 4.2.0 as it is not yet available on their servers and I did not want to install myself)
On install.packages("OpenMx"), it halts as it cannot find `omp.h` file.
However, `omp.h` file is present in the following location:
/usr/lib/clang/12.0.1/include/omp.h
How can I make sure that OpenMx installation can "see" this file?
Would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Best,
Arin
Installing error on Stampede2
I have been trying to install OpenMx on the TACC Stampede2 server and it kept failing. Could you please help?
I need OpenMx primarily to use metaSEM package.
Here is the information you may need.
Platform: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (64-bit)
R version 4.0.3 (2020-10-10)
I have tried: (1) install.packages(OpenMx) & (2) source('https://vipbg.vcu.edu/vipbg/OpenMx2/software/getOpenMx.R')
Both did not work. The main error message I received was:
