We are pleased to announce the official release of OpenMx version 2.9.6. Click here for instructions on how to install the package from our package repository. As usual, our repository has package binaries for Windows and MacOS, and source tarballs for Linux/GNU, all of which come with the NPSOL optimizer.

New download instructions - getOpenMx.R script has moved!

The getOpenMx.R script has a new location, and therefore, the instructions for installing OpenMx from the Development Team's repository have changed! Now, you would run the following command during an R session:
source('https://openmx.ssri.psu.edu/software/getOpenMx.R')

Version 2.7.11 of OpenMx officially released

OpenMx version 2.7.11 is now available through CRAN and through our virginia.edu repository. Users running R version 3.4 under Mac OS X 10.11 "El Capitan" are advised to follow our website's instructions for installing OpenMx, since the CRAN build of the package still does not work with that combination of R and MacOS versions.
