Consulting Services for OpenMx + Cloud Computing

Primary tabs

Cloud computation is an inexpensive way to optimize large numbers of OpenMx models using parallel processing. As a proof-of-concept, we reproduced the analyses described in Schmitt et al. 2014. This involved running 4 OpenMx models at each of 40962 voxels. This compute job was completed in about 4 hours using 1024 CPU cores managed by Google Cloud Platform for about $200.

The OpenMx team offers assistance in running similar large jobs in exchange for co-authorship. If you have a project in mind, please get in touch with XXX.
