We are pleased to announce the NIDA and OBSSR funded 'Advanced Genetic Epidemiology Statistical Workshop: Applications to Drug Abuse' , which will be held October 23-27 in Richmond, Virginia.
This workshop is designed to provide an overview of advanced statistical methodology for genetic studies, particularly of substance use and abuse and related risk factors or biomarkers. It covers analytical methods for: genetic epidemiological and genomic-based studies, multivariate, longitudinal & causal modeling, statistical & optimization issues, and related topics. The focus is on a hands-on approach, in which participants use their own computers to implement and experiment with statistical methods presented by the faculty.
