First 10 Days of the OpenMx Website

The OpenMx website has been up and running for 10 days. The documentation and forums have only been active for 6 days. We have had over 2,800 hits on the front page and almost 300 hits on the forum front page. Google found the front page on Saturday and so now our front page is listed when you search for OpenMx SEM, for instance. We've had one SEM-related blog (http://sem-blog.org/) link to what they call the "excellent OpenMx homepage".

Getting the most out of the site

The closed-beta of OpenMx has begun, and we're looking forward to start hearing from our beta-testers. With the release of OpenMx 0.1-1, we've also released the OpenMx website, where we host the SVN commit log, issue management (bug tracking, etc.) and documentation, as well as the OpenSEM forums and wiki, for wider use in the structural equation modeling community.
