Requirement to supply OpenMx version number when creating issues

The issue creator insists on having a version number when issues are created. However, no versions are available in the pulldown list - have to choose ' ' (blank) over 'none' to get it to work.

I tried to use the "create a new project release" option, but that didn't seem to cause a project release number to appear on the ticket system.

Yeah I just disabled the "Project Releases" module in drupal which turned off the drop down box for version numbers. It turns out that the "Project Releases" module only works with CVS. As best as I can tell (which involves a lot of guessing because the documentation is crap), we are required to run a CVS repository if we want to tag release numbers. Which is the stupidest thing I've heard all week. So version numbers from the issue form are gone.
