The OpenMx website has been up and running for 10 days. The documentation and forums have only been active for 6 days. We have had over 2,800 hits on the front page and almost 300 hits on the forum front page. Google found the front page on Saturday and so now our front page is listed when you search for OpenMx SEM, for instance. We've had one SEM-related blog (http://sem-blog.org/) link to what they call the "excellent OpenMx homepage".
Our documentation pages are in considerable flux as we are working on incorporating the reviews from our core beta testers. We want to have a much more polished learning experience ready before the program is released for open beta test. We expect our first binary beta revision to be ready for release on Friday (8/14). We've found and fixed some bugs and improved the intelligibility of the error messages. There will likely be an improved summary() function based on our beta testers' comments.
